Gravity

What is gravity
It’s the best
A force that brings
Us down to rest.

You can try it
If you like
Jump up high
Reach for the sky.

Good shot I say,
Ball in the air
Which force joins in
Oh, caught out again!

It attracts our planets
Orbits them in sync
High tide, low tide
Yes, there’s a link.

Without gravity,
Gravity it’s the key,
We’d float away
A molten mass of density.

A Note to You and Me

The image is of Earth as seen from the moon. It shows the gravitational pull between Earth and the moon which raises a small bulge on the moon: NASA Goddard

Thanks for reading our poem.  It follows on from our post about Gravity.  If you would like to read it here is the link: What is Gravity?

Kam and I would love to hear from you, do you have any questions, can you tell us more about gravity, have we missed the plot – probably! Let us know, leave a message? X
